The RAIS AirSystem is an external air intake solution designed specifically for modern, well-insulated, and low-energy homes. In airtight properties — increasingly common in new builds and retrofitted homes across Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire — wood burning stoves can struggle to draw sufficient combustion air from the room, leading to poor draw, inefficient burning, and potential smoke spillage. The AirSystem solves this by channelling fresh outside air directly to the appliance through a dedicated duct, ensuring optimal combustion regardless of how well-sealed the building is.
Available as Air Kit 35 (through floor) or Air Kit 5 (through back wall). Compatible with all RAIS wood burning stoves and fireplace inserts. Please specify your stove model and preferred installation route at time of order.
