Girse Pizza Oven

Girse Pizza Oven

Girse is a family-owned German manufacturer specialising in stainless steel outdoor fireplaces, barbecues, and cooking accessories, built to stay outdoors year-round and engineered for genuine open-fire cooking rather than just looking the part.

The Girse Pizza Oven attachment swings a stone over the fire to turn your Girse fireplace into a wood-fired pizza oven. Used with its lid in place, a second firebrick heats from above as well as below — the stone sits partly within the fire itself, and once the fire is well established it typically takes 20 to 30 minutes to heat through before pizzas cook in 3 to 5 minutes. Removing the lid switches the stone to single-sided heat, which suits thin pancakes and crêpes instead. We'd recommend starting with smaller pizzas while you get a feel for the timing.

Key Features

  • Swings over the fire on the existing fireplace structure
  • With lid: two-sided heat for pizza (heat-up approx. 20–30 minutes, cook time 3–5 minutes)
  • Without lid: single-sided heat, suited to pancakes and crêpes
  • Available for Type 2 and Type 3 Girse fireplaces (not Type 1)

We supply the full Girse range to customers across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire — get in touch below if you'd like advice on choosing the right size for your Girse fireplace.
