Girse Electrical Rotisserie

from £543.00

Girse Electrical Rotisserie

Girse is a family-owned German manufacturer specialising in stainless steel outdoor fireplaces, barbecues, and cooking accessories, built to stay outdoors year-round and engineered for genuine open-fire cooking rather than just looking the part.

The Electrical Rotisserie adds a motorised turning spit to your Girse fireplace, so a joint of meat, chicken, or duck rotates evenly over the fire without anyone needing to turn it by hand. It includes a fat-collecting tray that does two jobs at once: a fret at the back shields the meat from direct flame while the fire burns behind it, and the tray itself catches dripping juices before they can fall into the embers and flare up. The tray needs water in it throughout cooking, both to stop it warping in the heat and to catch the drippings — top it up as it evaporates, and for extra flavour try using stock, beer, or wine instead of plain water. Cooking times typically run from one to two hours depending on what you're cooking. The motor runs on a standard 230V supply.

Key Features

  • Electric motor — 230V, no manual turning required
  • Includes a fat-collecting drip tray with integrated flame shield
  • Tray must be kept topped up with liquid throughout cooking
  • Available for Type 2 and Type 3 Girse fireplaces (Type 1 has been discontinued)

We supply the full Girse range to customers across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire — get in touch below if you'd like advice on choosing the right size for your Girse fireplace.
